so for those who love rock music, i just have one band to mention and it s Simple Plan!
this was one of the best show of my life! again like with Good CHarlotte, i just felt ALIVE
for over 1H30 !
i met up at North station with 3 flemmish friends of mine at 8AM (the show being at 8PM lol), people i ve known forever , went on tour with and never ever disappointed me in anyway possible.
We decided to go and check the venue, and met Ian the English truck driver, he s so funny and nice ^^ and probably the only truck driver in the world to be able to make a u-turn in the middle of the boulevard and hitting the traffic light sign without breaking it lol! xD
with time he said the boys were supposed to arrive soon, yeah FOUR hours later they arrived haha!
A friendly blond chick came to us and asked if we were waiting for simple plan (as there were 2 other shows at the bota that day) we said "of course we are" she went in her bag and gave us tonz of stickers, gadgets for our mobile phone, she was actually working for the record company ^^ *lucky us*
the boys arrived and we met Chuck the drummer, who took time to sign, talk , take pictures and stuff, it was so confusing for him, as, as u know the band is from QUebec , so they speak French , but my friends speak dutch and english , so we were mixing all the languages lol! xD started with "bonjour ca va" answering "hey i m fine" lol xD was hilarious! xD
the rest of the band said hello and then went straight to the venue.
we met up with other friends and went to eat and then the signing session...they weren t that many people , i would have expected much more but a lot of young girls preferred being at the venue to be front row!
we went to the signing , said hello again and again lol, then went to eat again before the show! ^^
we went back to the venue, and went at the bar, and all people were pushing each other (thank god we werent in the crowd lol) doors were supposed to open at 8PM but at 8.20PM they only started little by little to let people in while the opening act was already singing lol! CRAZY! xD
we let all the crazy girls go into the really small venue (only for 600 people) then the blond lady from the record company was there waiting for some competition winners...passing some details , we managed to get
the fOUR of us in as well!
so we didnt see the opening act at all lol cuz the meeting happened at the same moment lol! xD
we could talk to them, take a group picture and have stuff signed , was cool hehe!
we then went back into the room that was packed!!! but one way of another we ended up front row but on the side but still had a great view!
the show is just amazing, and the guys really energetic and funny , i couldnt stop laughing lol! they even made up a new song about "bruxelles" inventing it right on the stage, saying they loved everything and the ladies lol! xD they had so much fun that the show ended up later ! i so wanted to see the guys again after the show that i decided to wait lol! xD
missing my last train of course lol! xD thank god i have great friends right?! they welcomed me at their house, along with 5 other people!!! O_o i so love those girls hehe ^^
it started to rain like it s not possible , so the manager came and put like the 40 fans under a shelter in order not to get wet , and ALL THE BAND CAME TO SIGN AND TAKE PICTURE WITH EVERYBODY!!! i ve never seen that in my entire life!!! they took the time to have some words for everybody even if it was freezing cold!!! i so love those boys! they are so funny! they were like "oh we ve never met!!! nice to meet u! " laughing cuz we had the chance to meet them 3 times during the day lol!
well that s about it lol!
but if u really wanna have some fun, that show is one of the best i ve seen ^^
i m so regretting only doing ONE concert of the tour [crossing fingers for vienna lol]
